Leicester City's owner gives new cars for players

The celebration of historical English premiership win still continues in Leicester as Leicester City's owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha bought a BMW i8 each for every Leicester player. The £100,000 car which is a gesture from Leicester city owner to the players for their incredible title win.

19 BMWs were today lined up ready for the players to pick up following their Premier League title win. At £100,000 per car, that's a pretty generous gift.
 as Leicester City’s players would have already been well rewarded for their stunning Premier League title win last season but that has not stopped owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha from giving the squad a £100,000 BMW i8 each.

The Foxes made the unbelievable by breaking the odds to win the title by ten points last season and Srivaddhanaprabha had reportedly vowed to give every player a Mercedes B-Class Electric Drive, which cost in the region of £32,000. However,Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha appears to have gone the extra mile and broken the bank by spending nearly £2million on 19 new BMWs, which are waiting for the Foxes players to pick up outside the King Power Stadium.

Although there were 23 players used by boss Claudio Ranieri last season but only 19 cars have been purchased. The four players who have missed out the BMW car gift are reportedly Joe Dodoo, Andrej Kramaric, Yohan Benalouane and N’Golo Kante, who joined Chelsea earlier this summer.

The new Premier League season is just eight days away and Leicester City will be hoping they can defend their incredible title win.Leicester city face FA Cup winners Manchester United in the Community Shield on Sunday at Wembley.
